So I just got back from the most amazing vacation ever! Yeah yeah I told you that I would dedicate this blog to knitting but I CANT HELP IT!!! So I went on a cruise to the Caribbean! Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Isla Roatan, and Belize! So much fun!

 We mat the cutest kid selling necklaces outside one of the stores! I bought 3 of them!

 Zip lining was AWESOME

 Our Maitre'd was so cool. He nicknamed us the fun table because we always danced and sang along every night.^_^

Mindrawati (Mimi) was our server through the cruise. She was so sweet and we had loads of fun with her!

And last but not least... CAVE TUBING!

SCHOOL'S OUT!!!

SENIORS 2010 are FINALLY DONE!!! Oh I am so excited. Our graduation is next Saturday and I am bursting at the seams! But school is over, and I am on my way to COLLEGE! Happy Knitting Everyone! I'll have many projects to show you over the summer!

Baby Blanket Progress

 Here's what I have so far, I really need to get going!

The little pices of paper are so i remember whether im knitting or purling, cuz im jst that forgetful

M's babies are due in July but I leave for college in June so I need to hurry!

It just keeps getting better! (and im not even being sarcastic!)

Whew i had to get that out of my system. I have had the hardest time finding a good job but this is perfect! Its a 4 week internship at a daycare in my town, sounds like so much fun, and i cant wait 2 start. It'll take me right up into the end of the year in time to start my summer job.
 
We're going 2 another Drill meet this Saturday in ROTC. I get to do a fancy sabre routine. I'm excited about that too!
 
So two of my friends at school are very pregnant right now and one of them is having TWINS!!! OMG. So I thought it would be nice to make baby blankets. I only just started, so there's no picture right now, but I think they'll look great. One of M's babies is a girl, her second is a boy, and my other friend is having a boy. So I definitely need more baby blue yarn.

Hum-drum days and no knitting...how do i survive?

My grandmother is in the hospital, I had a dentist appointment on Monday, where I found out I'm gonna need not 1 but TWO root canals...grrr. So no knitting to shw you but im gonna go start a new one now. Happy Knitting

When a project doesn't turn out so well...what do you do with it?

Well I finished my chain knitting project. but it's not wide enough to be a scarf, it looks lik a hippie belt actually... I don't know what to do with it...I would frog it but it doesn't look bad, it just isn't what I had in mind. Oh well onward to another project.

Tomorrow is Easter! Or actually...today is Easter. I love celebrating Easter. It's a beautiful reminder of what Jesus did for us. I really wish that I could invite M for Easter but of course she's 'grounded' again. Her foster Mom grounds her every chance she gets. It's really starting to get on my nerves.

Well I'm gonna try to sleep before going to church in a few hours. Happy Easter everyone!
